Hello girls, I just wanted to ask you all to give me on healing and using my masculine energy because lately I can't seem to get things done properly and I love my feminine energy and I feel very connected to it but when it comes to masculine energy or doing something I start to procrastinate. Plz help

Hi Rakiah, lovely name by the way. I love that you’re working towards less procrastination! That’s definitely something praiseworthy.


From what I’ve read, it seems that you believe that feminine energy means one thing and masculine energy means another (which is true). However feminine energy doesn’t necessarily mean “not being able to get things done” or “procrastination”. Those are certain traits that can be found in any individual for various reasons. In fact, I personally was able to remedy my procrastination problem by being more in my feminine as opposed to being in my masculine! It’s all about learning how to identify the root causes.


Some root causes of the issues you mentioned:


- Anxiety and deep rooted restlessness about getting things done


-Mental health issues/mental blocks


- lack of confidence in one self (either due to their environment, or/and inner voice


- Becoming overwhelmed by the project/task.


- stress


As a woman, decluttering my mind, cycle syncing, learning more about my body and understanding how it works, learning to be kinder and more compassionate towards myself has helped me so much!


Here’s some tips that could help:


-Understand your body. Learn how your hormonal fluctuations throughout the month due to your menstrual cycle affect how you might show up for yourself and for other things like projects.


- Be kinder to yourself. This may not resonate with you but many of us women tend to judge ourselves harshly for our shortcomings. The internal shame that comes with that, impedes our ability to overcome procrastination.


- listen to your body. Sometimes we push ourselves super hard, when we should be nurturing ourselves. Do you skip meals? Do you think suffering is the only way to achieve anything? Do you hydrate yourself properly? Do you take restful breaks when you need to? These are questions you could address for yourself


- Let go of the rigid perfectionist mindset and let yourself flow~. When you’re working on something or towards a goal, you may not get it done in the way you want to exactly or the way society thinks you should. Allow yourself to stumble. Allow yourself to make mistakes. If you “allow” yourself, you’ll eventually finding yourself winning.


- How’s the voice in your head? Is it super critical about your every move? (I tend to do this to myself and many other women do the same). Practice positive thinking when it comes to yourself. For example: You make a mistake or you didn’t get something right. You could either tell yourself “not again…look how clumsy you are….why can’t you just get anything right? Why can’t you be smarter?” Or you could say “I made a mistake and the result isn’t something I want, but let me see….what can I learn from this? I may not have achieved it fully yet, but I could always try again inshallah”
